NOTICE TO BIDDERS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE,

The Town of Hancock is seeking bids for the following proposal:

Cadosia Walking Trail located along State Highway 268 Hancock, New York 13783

To obtain bid specifications, contact the Town Clerk or Town Supervisor at (607) 637-3651 or go to the Town Hall at 661 West Main Street, Hancock, New York 13783 or clerk@hancock.net.

Bids need to be received in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Walking Trail”.  All bids must be received by the Hancock Town Clerk by mail or in person delivery prior to 7:00 p.m. on September 1, 2026 at which time they will be unsealed.  All bids must include a non-collusive bidding certificate. 

All bidders must also comply with NYS Labor Law Section 220-I which requires all contractors to be registered with the NYS Department of Labor before submitting bids on public work projects.  A valid Certificate of Registration must be submitted with the bid.

 The Hancock Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
